As a big admirer of the French romantic painter Theodore Gericault, I wanted to study a brown horse head, similar to the numerous ones he did. My goal here was to render the horse with the fewest brush strokes possible, keeping it fresh and flowy. Recently, my focus has shifted towards painting with a reduced layering approach, achieving the final rendering through precise control of values, temperatures, and saturations.
